What drew you to yoga?
In undergrad, I was an avid skydiver. Yoga became the only sense of grounding I could create.
Why do you practice?
Freedom, connection and to end suffering.
(Life+) How does yoga change you off the mat?
How I treat myself is how I treat others. Practicing patience and compassion on the mat translates to my real-world interactions.
What is your style?
My style is empowering you to create a new edge, and what is possible for you now, in this moment. Most often, I keep it old school using breath as your soundtrack.
Where are you when you’re not teaching?
Working as a Registered Dietitian (RD), I conduct medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling sessions. Practicing yoga, or walking in the woods.
